SoilLab is operated by Geotech4All. This notice explains what this website measures about visitors, why, and the choices you have.
What we measure
When you visit soillab.online, Google Ads cookies may record which pages you open, the address that referred you here, your browser and device type, and — if you arrived by clicking one of our Google adverts — an advertisement click identifier. If you click a "Book a demo" or "Book a free demo" button, that click is recorded as a result of the advert that brought you here.
Who receives it
That information goes to Google LLC, which runs the advertising platform we use (Google Ads). We do not sell visitor data, and we do not pass it to any other advertising or data broker. Google's own handling of the data it collects is described at business.safety.google/privacy.
Why we measure it
- Measurement. To see which adverts bring visitors to SoilLab and how many of them ask for a demo.
- Ad optimisation. So the advertising platform can show our adverts to more people like those who found them useful, and to spend our budget better.
We do not use this data to build a profile of you as an individual, and we do not combine it with anything that identifies you by name.
Your choice
Visitors in the European Union, United Kingdom, Switzerland and Quebec are asked for their choice before any advertising measurement runs, and can accept or refuse. Everywhere else, measurement runs by default. Either way you can change your mind at any time:
Your choice is stored in your own browser, so clearing your browser storage returns the question. Refusing advertising cookies does not stop you using SoilLab; it only means your visit is not counted against an advert. You can also block cookies in your browser settings.
Your account data
If you sign in to SoilLab, the borehole, SPT, CPT, laboratory and project data you enter is stored for your workspace so the application can work with it. It is not shared with advertising platforms and is not used for advertising.
